By the way, the way that I will like to use IMAP in Dolibarr is just using an existing account in an existing IMAP server, the one I´ve been using several years ago, and the way that fits my point of view could be, adding the configuration to make it work in this scenario. I work alone, and most part of the time out of the office, my approach is use IMAP the same way as POP it´s been using right now in Dolibarr.
Just adding the IMAP account configuration to make possible the send, and the sent items folder where i want Dolibarr saves all sent mails, in that way, I could create a new folder in my actual server called "Sent from Dolibarr" that will always be accesible from every device and it will let me know when i sent an estimate, an invoice, etc., and letting me forward it once again from my mobile device or my desktop email app. I also think that in that way, the integration maybe can be much more lightly.
The roudcube integration sounds too interesting, but I guess maybe this configuration could be great idea for a new company who´s going to use a new domain or new email accounts but force all the others to move the actual email server within Dolibarr, don´t you think?, of course that is only my point of view.
